Organizations storing large backup datasets can lower storage costs by purchasing 1-year or 3-year Azure Backup Storage Reserved Capacity commitments.

Reduce long-term backup costs by moving eligible backups to the Archive tier, starting at $0.0027/GB/month (LRS) or $0.0054/GB/month (GRS).

Enable Geo-Redundant Storage (GRS) to replicate backup data across regions for enhanced disaster recovery protection.

Choose Zone-Redundant Storage (ZRS) for higher resilience within an Azure region. Standard storage starts at $0.0280 per GB/month.
